Jump 4 Julia
Next Jump - 6th September 2008
About the jump
|
This tandem parachute jump lands at the Army Parachute Association at Netheravon, near Salisbury, where you will receive full training on the day. After taking off, you will climb to around 13,500 feet before departing the plane attached to your instructer. You will free-fall for around 30 to 45 seconds before the canopy opens and you glide through the air for around five minutes more before landing. |
|
To take part you will need to raise £395, which includes the cost of the jump. We ask that you provide a deposit of £100 at the time of sending in your entry form and a further £85 by the time that you jump (most bring it on the day). We recognise that the rest can take a little longer. However should you set up a fundraising page on Just Giving and have more than £185 pledged you will not need to pay a deposit- call the office for further information.
Around a month before the jump you will be invited to join your fellow skydivers for a visit to Julia's House. You may also be joined by people who took part in the last Jump4Julia. It is a chance to see first hand what your money will be going towards, a chance to meet the people you will be jumping with and a chance to ask questions from people who have already completed their jumps.

London Marathon
Golden Bond places are bought by charities, in order to obtain guaranteed places in the London Marathon. Sadly, Julia's House does not have any "Golden Bond" places and neither are we likely to be allowed any under current London Marathon rules. However, the good news is it is possible to get a place by applying directly to the race organisers.
Applications are open now for 2009 . Call us to find out where you can get an application form on 01202 607400
We were fortunate enough to have had people running for Julia's House in 2008. We had fifteen runners and so far the fantastic total stands at just under £17,000. So a huge thank you to everybody and we will be happy to welcome anybody who would like to run for us in 2009.
