Future
The task for Julia's House is now to develop its service until it can cater for every one of the 200 life-limited and life-threatened children in Dorset.
Day care at the hospice will gradually increase to provide more hours of care until it eventually becomes a 24 hour a day seven days a week operation. Overnight stays are expected to begin in Spring 2009.

The work of the community team must also grow to be able to care for children right across the county.
For all this development to take place the charity must also grow its fundraising and the support of the local community is as vital today as it has ever been. There are currently seven supporter groups throughout Dorset, but Julia's House aims to have groups in all major towns throughout Dorset.
